 UT Basics>Legal Services
 
 

 

Student Legal Services, Inc., a full service law firm located on The University of Toledo Bancroft campus, provides prompt, efficient, and high quality legal services to current students for a fee of $10.00 per semester. The services include the following:

  • Assistance for students seeking legal information and advice

  • Representation by an attorney in any judicial or administrative proceeding covered by the program and that is pending in Lucas County, Ohio

  • A variety of lectures, workshops, and seminars concerning relevant legal issues

  • Referrals to agencies to eligible participants in legal matters not covered by the legal service plan

  • Legal matters covered include: landlord/tenant disputes, criminal/traffic matters, consumer problems, and miscellaneous legal matters.
